This is such a great place to eat. The food was amazing. This is my second time and my partner's first time. The serving sizes were perfect as you can see in the pictures. The service was welcoming as soon as you came in they greeted you ready to take your order. The establishment was clean inside and out. We sat outside enjoying the breeze. We will for sure come back in the future.

Moved to Sacramento from Texas and have had the WORST time trying to find good Mexican food. Thank goodness for El Rincon!! The food here is nothing short of EXCELLENT! We went 2 days in a row! Their birria is to die for!! It is honestly one of the best I've ever had. We got their street tacos, which were a great price and they don't skimp out on the meat! Grilled chicken tacos were delicious, we also got shredded chicken enchiladas with green sauce which were as if someone's abuela is back there making a home cooked meal. You can really taste the love put into the food here. Another thing we ordered was the shrimp cocktail, which was absolutely delicious as well. I'm sure you can order blindly from this place and never be disappointed. They even have a little salsa bar! Everyone that works there is so friendly with 10/10 customer service! They're so helpful with any questions you have! The restaurant itself is very small with limited seating, but it's a cute spot. They do have a pretty decent patio/outdoor seating area if the weather is nice! Takeout is definitely a great option here, they pack everything up for you really nicely and give you little to go sauce cups for the salsa bar. Overall, highly recommend this spot!!!

Cute little place in downtown right off the freeway. There are about 6 tables inside and some outdoor seating great for hangouts. I was craving a burrito today and was in the area, so I gave it a try. Super friendly girl working at the register who offered chips and salsa after I paid for the order. The burrito was huge, I only got through half of it and saved the other half. It did have lots of beans and rice, more than I would have liked, but for others who like that, it's a good deal.

Really good place, I got the regular shrimp burrito and for me ir was perfect size but I can totally see some people finding it small so I recommend you get the super burrito. They do give you chips and salsa to go and their patio area is really nice. Service was really friendly and food well priced.

It's a small little restaurant they have small indoor seating and small outside seating. The restaurant was very clean. Staff was very friendly & helpful to figure out what we wanted to have to eat. Chips are ok they were not my favorite mexican chips. The horchata is very good, not too sweet, which I enjoy. The asada fries were huge and very good. Crispy fries and more than enough meat and toppings. Would definitely be back if in the area. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.

First time getting takeout and the food was ready pretty quickly! I heard their tacos and birria are really good here so I would want to try. Items ordered: - Asada fries: I was a little disappointed at the presentation of the asada fries when I opened the container. The sour cream was all in one corner and the guacomole was on the opposite corner. The fries were pretty soggy when we ate them and not much flavor in the meet. Overall, the fries were alright, but I probably wouldn't get these fries again. - Birria supreme burrito: This burrito was absolutely MASSIVE. I was shocked when I opened the container and saw how big the portion was. The birria flavor was pretty good! I was mainly struggling with trying to finish half of the burrito in one sitting. Definitely worth the price since it's like 2 meals in 1!

This place was conveniently located by my friends house and it was delicious we ordered mandarin jarritos and I got a shrimp tostada and an Al pastor taco. I went back in to get a slice of flan and called it a day. Everything tasted so fresh and the service was great. I highly recommend!

I visited El Rincon Mexican Restaurant on Wednesday, 12/20/23, for lunchtime. The inside of the restaurant was inviting and nicely decorated. I was greeted with a pleasant welcome by Alexa. I decided to order the Burrito Supreme Shrimp, a Cheese Enchilada with Red Sauce, and a Medium soft drink cup. After placing the order, I was given complimentary tortilla chips. The salsa bar was nicely presented and had an awesome variety of salsas. I grabbed the red salsa and it was tasty. The burrito had huge pieces of shrimp and great flavor. The enchilada was decently good, just a tad oily. I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. I would stop by this restaurant again whenever I find myself in this area.

Say goodbye to Takos and say hello to Tacos. While the El Rincon's predecessor holds a special part, I'm not completely saddened with the outcome of their departure. Additionally, while I can't get a bulgogi burrito or galbi nachos anytime soon, I'm glad I can get some pretty decent tacos in the same cramped corner of 30th and T. Speaking of said tacos, they were pretty good especially for the price, but they didn't really standout to me. We decided to get their street tacos and at $2.50 a taco it's on the cheaper side while I appreciate. They're also one of the few places left doing a deal for Taco Tuesday which is $1.99 for said tacos. I had heard good things about their carnitas but personally I prefer when it's crispier and theirs wasn't dry but it also wasn't crispy. The other proteins were also just pretty good and nothing amazing. Will I be returning to this location? Possibly if it's a Tuesday and I'm willing to duke it out over the dwindling number of tables they have for dining in. But if not, then let's just say El Rincon isn't the highest on my list.
